Rideau Canal that takes boats from the river you see at the farthest point, and moves them to another river.  

This is the Courts building, and the walkway along the Ottawa River; the walkway runs behind Parliament Hill and goes all along the river for a long stretch...it's gorgeous.

Parliament building number 2.  

Rideau canal from the opposite view.  The building on the left is the Chateau Laurier, where the Queen stays when she visits Parliament, which buildings are across the canal from the Chateau.

Inside the main Parliament building, this is their Rotunda.
