I'm trying to grow basil and rosemary in teeny pots and i used some "living herbs" from the store and they wilted in the first, like, 24 hours.  I'm kinda frustrated.  This may fail.  

Time to go play Rock Band.

I've debated posting about my life right now. I'm in a funky place, kinda confused about a few things. I mostly want to avoid being rant-girl. I need to post more pictures....

Selection

Editing down to 10 photographs is a painful process.  As long as you have plenty of photos to pick from (which I do), you can get 10 photos to turn in.  I found that a challenge in the spring when I had to get 10 good prints.  I didn't feel like I had a good enough variety from which to choose.  This time it's different.  I have too many from which I can choose!  I'm down to 16, but I'm still questioning those 16.  Some I picked because the prof liked them, and the rest I thought were my best.  I'm just not sure what to do.  I need only 10.  Chucking 6 more seems impossible.  I'll post the final 10 once I figure out which they are.  :D

had meeting with my prof about my summer project and he liked what he saw and told me i need a studio.  :D  if the expert says it, i must do it, right?  *is smug*

let's see, what else...have brother's wedding shower tomorrow and then more family visiting.  i'm hoping dad sits this one out and i only have to deal with him in a month at the wedding.  i need to print a picture or two to take to my grandfather.  that's about it.

in looking at other photography businesses online, i've discovered that i'm addicted to wedding photographers' blogs. that is all. *switches firefox tabs to a wedding blog*

so when my profile says "i want to do photography for a living, but i'm not really "there" yet," what i really meant to say was "i'll be there in about 2 weeks."  

since i've started this blog, i've now moved into the phase of starting a photography business.  i have a super-cool partner and i'm ecstatic to have someone to work with.  more to come on that later.  it's being born right now, and many of you know that labor takes a little time.  in the mean time, new pictures (see above).
